If you want to know what this is all about, see my intro post at 30 Days to Better Faith.
Focus on the Word, a good place to start is in this week's Parsha (Hebrew for "portion"). They're often referred to as "Torah Portions," since originally they only included scripture from the Torah (1st 5 books), with additions from the Prophets (Haftarah) and Writings (Nevi'im). For those of us who believe in Jesus as the Messiah, we add additional portions each week from the NT (Brit Chadashah). This week's Parsha is called Acharei Mot/Kedoshim, which means "After the Death/Holy People" and consists of Leviticus 16:1-20:27, Ezekiel 22:1-19 and John 7:1-10:21.
If you're looking for the weekly schedule for future portions, you can find them at TorahPortions.org.
